Building Better Foodservice Since 1991

Food Concepts, Inc. (FCI) was founded on July 26, 1991, by Brad Duesler with a simple but ambitious goal: help retailers create better foodservice programs through innovative merchandising, operational expertise, and turnkey solutions.

The idea for FCI grew from Brad’s experience in convenience-store foodservice. While working as Director of Marketing for PDQ Food Stores, he saw firsthand how difficult it was for retailers to successfully launch and manage foodservice programs. Construction, operations, training, labor, marketing, and branded programs often operated independently, creating unnecessary complexity and slowing growth.

Recognizing an opportunity to simplify the process, Brad founded FCI to provide retailers with a more streamlined, one-stop approach to foodservice development.
